Store History

 The store owner, Sarah LaPointe, first began working with books in 1993 at the Printed Past Bookshop in Worcester, MA. After a few years working in other bookstores, including Escape Books in Eugene, OR, she moved to Virginia to work for Roger Hjulstrom and George Yakman at the Past Pages Bookshop. Past Pages donated books to help her open LaPointe's Used Books in Radford, VA, in December of the year 2000. The store moved from Radford to the town of Floyd in May of 2002.  In April of 2009, the store was moved again to Massachusetts. Hopefully, this will be the last move for a long time!

Felix the cockatiel is still running the show and eating books whenever he gets the chance, the beast!
